Small Science, Big Ideas is an informative and fun public education program designed to familiarize primary school children with basic scientific concepts and encourage them to develop their problem solving skills and sense of curiosity. The programme, established in 2006, consists of a hands-on workshop designed specifically for younger children (aged 5-12 years) and is facilitated by an RCSI scientist Dr. Maria Morgan. The workshop introduces participants to some of the ways scientists work and allows them to conduct simple experiments.
