Programme of Events

Teagasc is a major funder of Postgraduate Students in Agriculture and Food Science through its Walsh Fellowship Programme. Jointly supervised by the University and the Teagasc supervisors, students conduct their research at a Teagasc research site. Fellows nearing the completion of their research are invited to present their research findings at an annual seminar held in the RDS. The event takes place during Science Week Ireland. The Royal Dublin Society/Teagasc gold medal is awarded for the best student presentation at the seminar.
