The Irish Seal Sanctuary (formerly Skerries Marinewatch) has been operating since 1986 as a sanctuary for rescued marine and other wildlife, and in particular seals. They provide shelter for these rescued animals and run a follow-up programme of rehabilitation and release. Their aim, alongside the rehabilitation and release of mainly grey and harbour seals, is to bring education and awareness about marine bio diversity to a wider audience. Children will hear all about their work with seals and other marine wildlife in this talk.
