This public engagement will showcase the unique combination of Irish food culture and tradition with the best of food science and technology in Ireland. Ireland has long been associated with the production of high quality food from our unique land base. Science plays a pivotal role in the conversion of our natural raw material to safe food with unique tastes and textures. Scientists will demonstrate at a number of different venues around Dublin how new technologies can contribute to enhancing the safety, nutrition and taste of Irish food without compromising on the valued tradition of Ireland’s food sector.
