Curious?

health research board

‘Curious?’ is a series of wall murals derived from thought-provoking images of Irish and international scientific research. The Health Research Board has brought together this collection of scientific images to capture people’s imagination and showcase the magic of science that is rarely seen outside research groups. Each image has a story behind it that not only explains the science but connects you to the image.

‘Curious?’ also celebrates Dublin City of Science 2012, a year-long celebration of science with over 160 events that will showcase the best of Irish culture, arts and science (http://www.dublinscience2012.ie/). Through the creative use of scientific images and public spaces, we hope that ‘Curious?’ engages everyone living in Dublin, or just passing through, to think more about science and how it impacts our lives.

Image sources include: The Wellcome Trust, Trinity College Dublin, Science Foundation Ireland, and CERN.
