An evening of talks by international and national guest speakers exploring the impact that climate change is having on plants and animals:

  • The National Botanic Gardens: Signs of change – Matthew Jebb (National Botanic Gardens)
  • Global impacts of climate change on the biosphere – Martin Parry (Imperial College London)
  • The effects of changing climate on wildlife in Europe – Tim Sparks (Coventry University)
  • Timing is everything: phenology as an indicator of spring warming in Ireland – Alison Donnelly (Trinity College Dublin)
  • Mercury rising: butterflies and climate change – Eugenie Regan (National Biodiversity Data Centre)

This event is a collaboration between the National Botanic Gardens, Environmental Protection Agency, Trinity College Dublin and the National Biodiversity Data Centre.
